Test cricket is a boring sort of cricket for fans.Pakistan's tour of India ,November - December has been a close contested one.Through out the test series we have been able to see spectators sleeping.Seeing a match that is heading towards a draw is really boring.It was a comfortable win for india.Let's see the result of the three match series.

1st Test Delhi

India's 1st innings score was a whopping 616.Jaffer started well scoring 202 at a rapid pace.His game resembles the innings of Laxman against Australia at Kolkata.A composed 50 from dravid , a quick fire 82 from Sachin followed.Next batsmen Ganguly who is facing threat from in form Yuvraj Singh for a place in the playing 11 decided that the flat pitch and tired bowlers plus injured Shoib Akthar can be exploite to maximum.So he took a century and his partner Laxman also hit century.The greedy indians didn't stop there, they allowed Dhoni to get a half century also.These things didn't do justice to Wasim Jaffer's innings played for a win.We canot forget Harbajan's performance also here.

Misbah ul haq retaliated by a 161.The out of form Kamran Akmal payed a beautiful innings to get his century.Pakistan wrapped up their innings at 456.India took 184 more and declaredBut Pakistan batted well.Lost only four wickets.Younis khan hit a century also.If these indians had declared earlier a game was on.But indians were afraid of losing and were content with a draw.

3rd Test Bangalore

Yasir Arafat made his debut and utlized the pitch by bowling close to the stumps and rewarded by 3 quick wickets.Jaffer,Karthick, Gambhir, Dravid and Laxman were back at the pavillion quickly.India was in deep trouble.Gambhir was accommodated in place of injured Sachin.Yuvraj got in in place of injured Dhoni which means Karthick would do the keeping.No one expected an indian fightback from Ganguly and Yuvraj.Yuvraj was freeflowing with boundaries all over the place.Ganguly played a restrictive innings but both kept the scoreboard ticking.Yuvraj took 169 and ganguly took 239 and Irfan Pathan also made his first century and india was all out for 626.Pakistan batted well with Misbah hitting a ton again and a halfcentury by Salman Butt got pakistan to 537.

In the second innings india made a terrible mistake.300 runs were enough to challenge Pakistan.But india continued batting on the fifth day to get a half century for out of form dinesh Karthick.Ganguly hit a 91 in the second innings.Pakistan batting was a tragedy.Only Younis khan and faisal iqbal showed resitance.They lost 7 wickets and were on the verge of losing but the bad light saved them from defeat .India could have one the match easily if they had declared at 350.But kumble went on to secure Karthick's place secure in the side.
