He is back.The legendery treasure hunter Indiana Jones is older in this episode.All the visuals in this movie relates to that of a classic era.He is a part time Professor and a professional treasure hunter.This time he is much older but still has the fire power within him to survive a nuclear blast in a military base in the desert of Nevada.
Jones is kidnapped by Soviet agents led by Col. Dr. Irina Spalko to find the remains of an extraterrestrial creature.He tries to escape from them but his assistant Mac fails him and joins with the Russians.Somehow Jones escapes and he greaser Mutt Williams request him to join in finding a mythical crystal skull.Jones is interested because his friend Harold Oxley is missing after he found a mythical skull.
Mutt Williams is in for it to get his captive mother Marion Ravenwood and in the search they find that Jones was an exlover of Marion and Williams happens to be his father.They follow the legends of the Mayans about the crystal skull and risks their lives to return it to where it belong.There comes the ET connection.
Russians and the team jones fight hand in hand to capture the crystal skull and to reach the place to return it.The crooked Russian doc woman, Cate wants higher powers and knowledge from the ET creatures and in the climax they raise her to pychic levels she is unable to handle.Mac is after gold and he gets dead in the gold.Jones gets married to his old bride Marion in the climax while his greaser child looks on.This movie is an adventure genre and is worth watching.Eventhough Jones seems to behave like a young man , there is not much exaggeration shown.
