'Mr Bean's Holiday' is the latest Bean movie.Rowan Atkinson's talent is well reflected in this movie.There are lots of instances of quality humor.Atkinson has stated that it would be the last Bean movie.Directed by Steve Bendelack  and written by Simon McBurny,the script is well polished by Atkinson himself along with Hamish McColl and Robin Driscoll.

Atkinson characterises 'Mr Bean' famous charactor in the television series.This movie is the sequel to the 1997 movie 'Bean'.The film starts with Bean visiting a church raffle and wins a vacation trip to France and a comcorder.The frech language provides a challenge to Bean as he struggles to catch a train to the south of France from the Gare de Lyon.Losing the train to make up time for the next train he visits a restaurent.He finds there in a challenge with the seafoods.

Just before getting on the train he finds a stranger Emil ,a Russian direction who is on the way to Cannes for judging the film festival, to record his boarding.But after recording Emil finds that the trains has started and he couldn't board the train.Bean tries to cheer Stephan the distressed son of Emil but ultimately finds himself lose money and his suitcase lost in the train when he alight at the next station to look for stephan.Befriending Stephan ,Bean trying all his tactics to get to Cannes.They get seperated at the market place.Bean then on his trail to Cannes visit a shooting location and make a disaster there.On the way he meets a actress Sabine and he gets Stephan back on the way. 

Now Emil complain to Police that Bean has Kidnapped his son and news spreads on TV.Now Sabine takes Bean and Stephan to the film festival where Bean and Stephan gets in cheating the security.Bean tries to look out for Emil in the cinema hall where a movie directed by egoist director Carson Clay is playing.Seeing that the one and only scene of Sabine has been cut from the movie,Bean makes a wicked smile and gets to the projection room.He displays video his camcorder instead of the movie.But the narration ideally suits the scenes.And finally Emil gets his son.Angry Carson Clay gets cooled when he see people appreciate and he embraces Bean in front of standing ovations.The climax shows bean enjoying the beach with other characters and the famous song by Charles Trenet "La Mer" (Beyond the Sea) is played in the background.This is an amazing movie to watch because the comedy is well balanced.

From critics, Mr. Bean's Holiday has garnered mainly negative reviews. The film takes a far less Americanised tone than the original movie however, something which may have contributed to the critical reaction.However, the film has been very successful at the box office. It took an opening gross of USD$12.7 million in the United Kingdom, the biggest opening for a film in 2007 up until the release of Spider-Man 3.[6] As of May 30, 2007 the film has grossed over USD$178 million globally
