Wedding Daze is a yet another romantic movie that i have seen on DVD this 2008.This is a 2006 movie written and directed by Michael Ian Black.It is a rated R movie due to some strong languages used and so not suitable for kids.
The movie starts with Jason Bigg (Anderson) turning up in a cupid garment and make up to propose his girlfriend Audra Blaser (Vanessa) at a restaurant.Michael Weston (Ted) is Jason Bigg's dearest friend.He tries to stop Bigg in front of the restaurant from entering as it looks awkward to do in such a clothing.Meanwhile Blaser meets a guy, Mark Consuelos (Morty) who introduces himself to Vanessa waiting at her table for Anderson.When Ted argues with Anderson, Morty gets Vanessa impressed about his career in the special forces.Anderson gets his ring from Ted after much struggle and introduces to the restaurant that he is Cupid - god of love.Morty's instinct tells him that Anderson is a shooter with his bows and arrows and knocks him down all of a sudden.Vanessa interrupts and make peace.Vanessa suffers a heart attack after Anderson proposes her by reading out his poem.
The film depicts Anderson living in a dream world thinking about Vanessa.It becomes hard for Anderson to forget Vanessa.His life changes when he proposes a waitress when he and Ted were discussing the idea that life should move on.The girl at restaurant Isla Fisher (Katie) is a different type of girl and to his astonishment she accepts it.So it is about a love story about a couple who decides for it all of a sudden.Then as expected there comes a period of rift between them after some scenes of warmth.Then they plan for marriage.From this point a lot of nonsense happens and an attempt to some how finish the movie is seen.The couple and their friends steal a car from a showroom and goes on it for marriage.Katie's father breaks from prison and robs a shopping mall for wedding clothes with the help of her mother.They all get arrested and again a prison and the marriage.After the marriage they all end up in prison.
Wedding Daze didn't scored in theatres.The DVD was released this January.
