Indian Tigers to be tested in Australia |

 Team India has reached Australia after their successful matches against Pakistan at home.Their test series will kick off with the Boxing Day Test.For those of you who are not familiar with 'Boxing Day Test',note that it is an entry in the cricket dictionary.It is a special test match hosted by Australia at their MCG (Melbourne Cricket Ground) on the Boxing Day which falls on December 26.Australian team will face the team touring that summer.Last time when India toured they actually went their with everyone expecting them to lose all the match.Instead they have played well beyond all expectations.Saurav Ganguly was the captain then.His team's act was like fighting tiger at his home ground.
This time around chances are very little.Because the australians are in prime form.They have never lost at MCG recently.History and statistics shows that India's chances are remote.But world want india to put up a good fight and challenge the supremacy of the aussies.Their bowlers are in prime form.Their only negative is that they do not have a quality spinner in the calibre of Shane Warne.Brad Hogg is around.If he could get it going,it would be party for the Aussies.He did well in the one days played months ago in India. 
Indians are in the opinion that this is the strongest side that has ever toured australia.Dravid is said to open in the first test.This is a foolish approach.To get the best batsman to the new ball is not the right strategy against aussies.Wasim Jaffer is a good opener and can make lose the shine of new ball.Sehwag was a good option, but then they cannot play Ganguly.So latest news in that Yuvraj, Sehwag and Pankaj Singh is going to sit out.Sehwag is a good aggressive one and a better plan.He has the ability to take the attack to the opposition.He is the one who can make century before lunch.But he is in search of form for a while.Out of the team for a while and not being able to do noticable performances in domestic cricket.Yuvraj deserves a seat.He is in good nick but not able to find a spot.Saurav is batting well so should be played.But they could have really removed either tendulkar or laxman for including Yuvraj and Sehwag.I didn't mean they are bad players because both are in form.Both of them got centuries against Pakistan in Indian flat wickets.Taking Sehwag is a gamble but you have to take it.Clearly team selection is very difficult if every one is too good and you have age old rules for selection. If Indian batsmen fire we can see a good series and indian bowlers is expected to do good.What we are going to see is a fight between ageing Indian batsman versus Young Australian Fast bowlers led by veteran Lee.Indians are tigers and are have great batmen in paper.Let's wish that they do not become Paper tigers in front of the champions.Indians are capable of doing it.Wish India all the best!
